new works including mugs

I have just put some new works into the shop including a few mugs on which I have been playing with glaze layered effects. Have found January harder as motivation was ebbing. But I managed to get studio heating up a bit and have been enjoying the sunshine which breaks through and have begun working more earnestly. My lovely god daughter has returned to Africa and I have missed her presence in the studio. happily for me her mum and the second half of Rich Earth Studio keeps me on task and encourages me as does my lovely son who is widening his commissions on animal portraits. Thinking now about some landscape bowls based on the lovely Dorset countryside and preparing for the Online exhibition during DAWs week later on in the year. Not the same as meeting new customers but better than nothing.
