Rich earth studio goes live

Moving house - moving studio

Well I knew moving house would be a challenge but the studio as well? I am trying to do it in stages and luckily we have the luxury of time on our side but even so it is mental juggling at advanced level. It is not the sorting and packing nor the cleaning out of builders’ dust in the refurbished cottage but more the frustration of not getting on with my ceramics. It has had to take a backseat after a fairly successful start with the Artwey - Open for Art show in Dorset. Added to which, half my equipment is in the new garden studio whilst the other half is in mothballs before move part 2. To top it all my old faithful kiln of 30 years has given up- in spite of careful nursing by my engineering son. So which sort of kiln to choose now?
